Raphaël Dubach

Raphaël Dubach is a director, director of photography, camera assistant, and colourist. Born in 1992 in Bienne, Switzerland, he grew up in Geneva and trained at the École Cantonale d’Art de Lausanne (ECAL), where he graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor’s degree in Cinema, specialising in image. During his studies, he began to make a name for himself through his first projects as a director of photography and camera assistant.

In 2021, he co-directed his first feature film, LUX, alongside Mateo Ybarra. The film marked a turning point in his career, showcasing his technical and artistic expertise. At the same time, Raphaël Dubach continues to work on various film projects as a director, director of photography, and colourist, further establishing his expertise in all aspects of filmmaking.
