Marine Chiu
After studying philosophy and performing arts at Nanterre University, Marine Chiu joined the editing department of the Fémis film school, where she edited and directed short films. She left for Taiwan to intern with editor Mathieu Laclau, where she stayed to shoot her graduation film. On her return to France, she won the best editing prize at several festivals for the film Martien (Maxime Pillonel) and worked as an editor with Barbara Balestas Kazazian, Negin Khazaee, Frédéric Bayer-Azem and François Chang. She also worked with Marion Monestier and Guerric Catala as an assistant on several feature films, including Le Consentement (Vanessa Filho) and Pas de Vague (Teddy Lussi-Modeste). She is also pursuing her writing career, and will direct her next short fiction film in 2024.
