Lucas B. Masson
Lucas B. Masson is a director, editor and trailer designer based in Paris.
After training in Los Angeles, he began his career at a specialised agency, where he worked on the promotion of films by Steven Spielberg and J.J. Abrams. He then went on to work independently, creating and editing trailers for a wide range of auteur and mainstream films, including Emilia Perez, 120 Beats per Minute, 9-Month Stretch, How to Have Sex, and Anatomy of a Fall.
Alongside this, he develops his own directing projects. His short film Baby-Sitting (2012) was selected at over fifty international festivals and received numerous awards. He is currently preparing a new horror short film, shot between France and Portugal.
Combining a cinephile’s eye, a strong sense of rhythm, and a precise narrative approach, Lucas B. Masson brings together aesthetic vision and storytelling efficiency in both his editing and directing work.
