Florian Fernandez

Florian Fernandez is the head of the Short Film Corner | Rendez-vous Industry, a four-day forum dedicated to short films organised by the Cannes Film Festival, where he also oversees all industry-related events within the programme.

He is also an associate programmer for SXSW (Documentary Shorts) and the Festival du Nouveau Cinéma in Montreal, where he additionally serves as assistant programmer for Canadian short films.

Since 2023, he has been working with Solal Films, handling distribution and sales. He also collaborates annually with initiatives such as European Short Pitch, serving on the reading committee.
