Catherine Paillé

Catherine Paillé is a screenwriter born in 1980 in Les Sables d’Olonne. She studied at the Fémis, from which she graduated in 2005. Since then, she has written extensively with directors who were schoolmates. First with Samuel Collardey (L’Apprenti, Critics’ Week Prize at the Venice Film Festival in 2008, Tempête, Bayard d’or for Best Film at Namur in 2015, Une année polaire, selected at the Sundance Festival). She has also worked with Franco Lolli on Gente de bien, Léa Fehner on Les Ogres and Guillaume Brac on A l’abordage. She also co-wrote Shéhérazade by Jean-Bernard Marlin (César for Best First Film), Les Magnétiques by Vincent Cardona (César for Best First Film), and Le Sixième enfant by Léopold Legrand (Valois for Best Screenplay at the Angoulême Festival).
