Antoine Barraud

Antoine Barraud is a French director, screenwriter and director. Antoine Barraud directed his first short films between 2004 and 2007. This was followed by several experimental portraits of filmmakers such as Kenneth Anger, Shuji Terayama and Koji Wakamatsu. In 2012, he directed his first feature film Les Gouffres with Nathalie Boutefeu and Mathieu Amalric, which had its world premiere at the Locarno Film Festival and toured the international festivals. His second feature film Le dos rouge with Bertrand Bonello and Jeanne Balibar received the Syndicat de la Critique’s Singular Film Award. His film Madeleine Collins with Virginie Efira is currently playing in French theaters.
