Anne Brouillet

Anne Brouillet spent her childhood in Germany and her adolescence between Touraine and Lorraine. After studying literature and philosophy, she taught in Seine-Saint-Denis and joined the screenwriting department at La Fémis, where she wrote and directed several school short films. At the same time, she conducted research on improvisation in the cinema of the French New Wave.

In 2018, she directed the short film Champ de bosses (Avenue B Productions), supported by the Alsace Region and the CNC, which won the Grand Prix at the Premiers Plans festival in Angers and the Best Film Music award at Clermont-Ferrand. She co-writes short and feature films with William Laboury, Marine Atlan, Guillaume Brac, and Maryam Goormaghtigh.

Her first feature film as a director, Devenir Propriétaire, received CNC script development funding and was selected for the Ateliers d’Angers.
