Alain Gomis

The Franco-Senegalese director Alain Gomis, awarded notably the Grand Jury Prize at the 2017 Berlinale for his film Félicité is mobilizing for access to cinema in Senegal. Under his impetus at the end of 2018, the Yennega Center was born in Dakar. This place of screenings, meetings, debates and creation is the first cultural pole dedicated to cinema and seeks to develop the training of professionals on site and the development of Senegalese cinema as well as its talents.
