Tatum, a young foreign man in severe depression, is hired as a guard at a museum. He is assigned to guard a magical sculpture that reconnects him to the world and which he begins to protect as if his life depended on it. Due to a fatal mistake, the sculpture is destroyed by a visitor, but Tatum, transformed by this spiritual experience, manages to keep the magic inside himself.
