Sirak Ghere

Sirak GHERE is a Geneva-based filmmaker of Eritrean heritage. Born Sirak Ghebreegziabiheir, he chose to pursue his artistic career under the name Sirak GHERE in 2020, in tribute to his older brother. After arriving in Switzerland in 2006, his passion for visual storytelling emerged in 2016 while working as a photographer alongside United Nations photographer Ave Kuluki, marking the beginning of his artistic journey.
