Tabarak Allah Abbas

Tabarak Allah Abbas was born in 1998 in Switzerland of Iraqi origin, and graduated from HEAD - Geneva in cinema in 2023. She is passionate about art in all its forms, from fiction to animation. She likes to develop projects as part of a team, as she attaches great importance to social issues, reflecting her basic studies. It’s her desire to make a difference through art that continues to inspire her. Her first-year film Un papillon (CH, 2021, 5’) was selected in the schools competition at the Int. Kurzfilmtage Winterthur, Les fantômes du paradis (CH, 2021, 11’) at the Geneva Int. Film Festival and his diploma film Mawtini (CH, 2023, 12’) won the Prix Art et Humanité in 2023.
