Clara Vieiro Gingins

Clara was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1998. In 2015, she began her film studies at La Universidad del Cine (FUC) in Buenos Aires, where she explored various areas of filmmaking (sound, editing, image, directing, etc.). In 2021, her first short film, A la Espera del Milagro, premiered at the Buenos Aires International Independent Film Festival (BAFICI). She then worked as an editor on Manuel Muñoz’s film Rubicón, screened at numerous festivals around the world, including Vision Du Réel in Nyon, Switzerland, the Festival International du Cinéma de Valdivia in Chile (FICVALDIVIA), and the Festival Black Canvas FFC in Mexico City (CDMX). Based in Switzerland since 2020, Clara has worked in various fields in the film industry, following apprenticeships with French-speaking Swiss production companies such as Alva Film, FreshProd and Mnemosyn Films. In 2022, she joined the cinema department at HEAD (Haute École d’Art et de Design), where she completes the third year of her film Bachelor’s degree (directing option).
