David Nguyen

David is a filmmaker born in Fribourg (Switzerland) and of Vietnamese origin. He discovered his passion for storytelling as a child through his family mini-DV camera and by drawing comics. He trained in art school (ECAL, HEAD) but also as a self-taught artist and during his experiences and internships in film production in Hong Kong, Paris, Berlin and Geneva. He directs music videos, portraits, travel films and short films. He feels at ease in both directing and editing. In his projects, he shapes a luminous, poetic universe with humor and lightness.
