Iris Petit

Born in 1996 in Annecy, France, Iris Petit studied Cinema at the Haute Ecole d’Art et de Design in Geneva and obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Directing in 2017. She directs films mainly shot in Asia, such as her film-essay La Lumière des Autres (2017, Thailand) or Kingdom of Fishes (2016, Cambodia). Iris also presents her drawings and experimental films in galleries. After her studies, she works in different festivals, such as the FIFDH in Geneva or the Street Art Festival in Bangkok. At the same time, Iris teaches film workshops in high schools in Annecy and is pursuing a Master’s degree in cultural project management.
