Alberto Martín Menacho

Born in 1986 in Madrid, Alberto grew up in Alcalá de Henares. He currently lives and works in Geneva as an editor and filmmaker. He studied Visual Arts at the Haute école d’art et de design de Genève. His works have been presented in Art Centers, Museums and International Film Festivals, such as the Musée de l’Elysée, Filmmuseum München, Journées de Soleure, Entrevues Belfort or the International Film Festival in Rotterdam. With his film Mi amado, las montañas, he received the Best Short Film Award at the Las Palmas International Film Festival and the Penínsulas Award at the International Film Festival Curtocircuíto. Antier noche, is his first feature film, and is part of the Ikusmira Berriak residency at the San Sebastian International Film Festival.
