BA. Film Directing (2014)

Juliette Riccaboni

After playing the lead role in a TV movie by Nicolas Wadimoff, Juliette Riccaboni joined the HEAD in 2011 in the cinema section. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in directing in 2014 and worked on various shoots as an assistant director, member of the image team or casting director. She wrote her first film outside of school Les Îles de Brissogne in 2016 and directed it in January 2018. As a lighting technician in theaters, it is backstage or between rehearsals that Juliette finds time to write films steeped in social marginality and simple dreams. In her projects, Juliette questions siblings, the intimate ties that make the milestone of any family constellation and articulates her narratives around vulnerable but supportive and determined characters.
