Maxime Kathari
After his studies at HEAD (Haute école d’art et de design) section cinema in Switzerland, Maxime Kathari starts working as a cinematographer in Paris on documentary, fiction and several music videos projects. In 2015, he received the award for best Swiss cinematography at the Internationale Kurzfilmtage in Winterthur with the short film O som da casa. In 2017, he shoots his first feature documentary (Awakening on Mars, by Dea Gjinovci) and in parallel with short fiction projects, he starts to do the image on commercials especially for the Chanel or LVMH groups. In 2019, he is shooting a feature documentary in the United States (Hollow Tree by Kira Akerman) and is working on two other feature documentaries in Europe. He is now preparing his first feature film as a director.
