Mirjam Landolt

Mirjam Landolt works as a freelance filmmaker and artist with still and moving images. She likes to observe, question and record the images she encounters on her way, making them resonate with each other and thus telling stories. Her themes revolve around nature, communities, habits, rituals and the fusion of the real and the imaginary, which the images know how to create. Mirjam trained as a photographer on the shores of Lake Geneva and at the CEPV in Vevey. She then left to travel and came back with the desire to learn the language of film. In 2012, she finished her film studies at the HEAD in Geneva. In 2020 her first feature film RARA AVIS had its world premiere at the Visions du Réel festival in Nyon. Today, many shoots and trips later, she continues her projects and collaborations around images.
