English Synopsis
Tess, in her thirties, struggles to keep up with an exhausting daily life while raising her daughter. She is raising eight-year-old Valentine on her own, and the two share an intensely close bond. But since her separation from Georgio, Valentine’s father, something has fractured: Valentine refuses to go to his house. Tess notices her becoming tense, withdrawn, and silent whenever she returns from weekends with her father. Caught between Georgio’s hold over her, her maternal instinct, and her legal obligations, Tess moves forward through the fog.

Tess, la trentaine, tente de tenir entre un quotidien épuisant et l’éducation de sa fille. Elle élève seule Valentine, huit ans, avec qui elle partage une relation fusionnelle. Mais depuis sa séparation avec Georgio, le père de sa fille, quelque chose s’est fissuré : Valentine refuse d’aller chez lui. Tess la voit tendue, fuyante et silencieuse lorsqu’elle revient des week-ends chez son père. Piégée entre l’emprise de Georgio, son instinct de mère et ses obligations légales, Tess avance dans le brouillard.
